Your support for MICHA means more than we can express. We have been hard at work behind the scenes, rewriting the mission to protect MICHA’s future and to preserve the astounding lineage of Michael Chekhov and his beloved student and our founder Joanna.

We are excited to announce an exciting renaissance for MICHA. We have launched the Welcome Back Legacy Campaign and are reaching out to our MICHA family and supporters far and wide to stand with us as we enter this next chapter.

A century ago, Michael Chekhov fled Russia, then Europe, to the United States to protect and keep his dream of sharing his teachings alive and flourishing. Joanna Merlin then founded MICHA to continue that vision. It’s now up to each of us to keep the Theater of the Future alive and well. We are in unprecedented times where the arts and arts education are at risk.

Become a member, or renew your membership today! Your membership helps sustain MICHA and comes with many perks! Becoming a MICHA member is the first step in connecting with the training opportunities, resources, and individuals at the heart of the international Michael Chekhov community. We now offer a student rate, as well as Institutional rates.
