Workshop and Festival Overview
Join us for a transformative 5-day training that awakens the inspired actor within you! Dive deep into the Michael Chekhov technique and connect with a vibrant community of fellow artists. With 24 hours of training, we will be exploring the actor's imagination with atmosphere, radiating & receiving, and qualities of movement. Our morning sessions will focus on the fundamentals of the Michael Chekhov Technique, and in our afternoon sessions, actors will have the opportunity to explore and play with application. Whether you’re new to this method or have been a long time explorer, this experience is designed to connect your embodied imagination to impulsivity and artistic expression, all in service of awakening your creative individuality and sense of craft.

Festival
Join us for our evening Festival, an exciting series of performances, screenings, and presentations where faculty and participants come together to share their work and works in progress within the Michael Chekhov community.
Applications to present at the festival are open to all participants and faculty, and details will be provided upon admission to the workshop. Don't miss your chance to showcase your creativity—applications are due by June 1st. We look forward to sharing the artistic journey with you!

Payment Plans
You may choose to make a full payment or take advantage of our two-part payment plan. This allows you to manage your financial commitments in a manner that best suits your needs.

Refund Policy
A full refund, minus a $100 administrative fee, is available anytime before May 25th.
A 50% refund, minus a $100 administrative fee, is available before June 15th.
No refunds are available after June 15th.
Refund requests can be sent to JessM@MichaelChekhov.org.
Refunds will be issued as a monetary refund to the original payment method.
Optional Dorm Housing at Emerson College
The dorms at Emerson College have XL Twin Beds that come with sheets, a light blanket, a pillow, a bath towel, and a hand towel. Participants are welcome to bring along additional bedding to make their time in the dorms more comfortable. Each dorm also comes with a desk and chair.
Dorm rooms are organized in suites. There are private bathrooms and showers in each suite.
Single Room- $500 ($100/day for 5 days)
Double Room- $475 ($95/day for 5 days)
Optional Meal Plan at Emerson College
We are currently working with Emerson to give you exact details on the food that will be available. What we hope to provide is an optional 3 meals a day package (6/25 - 6/30) for $260. If this isn't possible the alternative will be a breakfast only package (6/25 - 6/30) for $60.
There are numerous food options on the Emerson Campus as well as in the immediate vicinity of our training center and dorms.
Scholarships
There are a limited number of partial scholarships available this year. Applications for scholarships are due by April 1st. Click HERE to apply.
Application Fee
There is a $75 application fee. MICHA Members can apply for free. If you would like to become a MICHA Member and waive the application fee, become a member here.
