About the event
Chekhov & Emotion
With Christine Hamel
In Atlas of the Heart, Brené Brown describes emotions as "places we go when…” we respond to connection and disconnection in our lives. But what happens when, as actors, we are asked to conjure emotion on demand? In this session we will explore emotional landscapes through the Chekhov technique, grounded in contemporary research on embodiment and affect.
