In this practical and imaginative session, actor and teacher Tobias Jelinek explores how archetype can unlock spontaneity, presence, and creative freedom in on-camera performance. Using principles from the Michael Chekhov technique, participants will experiment with simple tools designed specifically for television and self-tape work. The session focuses on discovering the “secret joy” of archetype — not as an abstract idea, but as a living impulse that brings clarity, playfulness, and confidence to the actor’s process.
