Scott Fielding

is the Director of Michael Chekhov Actors Studio Boston, where he leads The Chekhov Training and Meisner Foundation Training programs. Mr. Fielding is on the faculty at Boston’s Emerson College and regularly gives master classes and workshops abroad. Twenty-five years’ experience with Chekhov’s method and perspective informs his artistic work across multiple disciplines and creative approaches. An internationally-awarded stage director, his John Cage: House Full of Music (with pianist Nada Kolundzija) was cited for Best Performance of 2010 in Belgrade, Serbia; (His) Three Sisters won national prizes in Bosnia-Herzegovina including Best Play. He directed multiple acclaimed works as artistic director of Alchymia Theatre, Chicago and, in NY, as a member of The Actors’ Ensemble. In Croatia, he held full-term appointments as guest professor at the national academies in Zagreb and Osijek. As an actor, his stage credits include Off Broadway, LA and Chicago.
